COPENHAGEN, Denmark: Introducing its new sister company, SciVision Nordic, at this year’s SCANDEFA, leading South African distributor SciVision is venturing into the Scandinavian market. SciVision Nordic will be the certified dealer for BIOLASE in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and operate from Copenhagen.
“The South African dental market is still relatively small in comparison to many other international markets,” SciVision CEO Peter Doubell told Dental Tribune Online. Being the sole agent and distributor for leading laser technology company BIOLASE in South Africa and named one of BIOLASE’s international dealers of the year, the company pursued expansion of the partnership, taking the same commitment regarding education and support to the Nordic countries, explained Doubell regarding the decision to venture north.
At SCANDEFA 2016, visitors can look forward to hands-on experiences at the company’s booth. “We expect to meet many dentists and have them see and experience some of our BIOLASE laser technology at the stand, as well as the Labomed microscope,” the SciVision CEO said.
According to Doubell, laser technology is an essential tool for innovative dental practitioners wishing to treat patients in a modern and less painful manner. “As a result of the exhibition, we hope to set up further training courses, give demonstrations and of course gain many sales.”
Headquartered in Centurion, near Pretoria, in South Africa, SciVision Medical is dedicated to the sale and service of the best and most innovative technologies in the dental and medical industries, including microscopes, as well as CAD/CAM and other advanced radiographic devices.
Visitors to SCANDEFA 2016 can obtain more information about SciVision Nordic and its product portfolio at the company’s booth, C1-012A.
