SINGAPORE: Reinforcing its presence in Asia, TePe has recently announced that it will be opening an office in central Singapore in March 2021. The establishment of a new branch is planned in order to enhance the company’s brand image and increase health awareness in the region.

Commenting on the news, Helen Richenzhagen, global sales director at TePe, said in a statement: “We see tremendous potential in the Asian markets through their interest in Swedish quality, innovation  and sustainability. Our tactical decision to establish a regional support office in Singapore will enable intensified collaboration with our distributors, focused on educational efforts and growing our brand.”

According to TePe, Business Sweden, a company that specialises in business development, will house the office at its premises in central Singapore. The opening is planned for early March 2021. TePe explained that Singapore was a strategic choice of location for the new office that is planned to create a direct impact in Asian markets. This will be achieved through various forms of communication in local languages, including lectures, presentations and training, and through growing  attendance  at  congresses and exhibitions.

Dr Sanjay Haryana, who presently works for the Nordic subsidiary of TePe Oral Hygiene Products, will be relocated to the Singapore office. “Building on TePe’s vision of healthy smiles for life, I look forward to growing our professional network and developing our educational activities to increase health awareness together with our distributors in Asia,” he stated.

TePe’s products and services are developed in Sweden in collaboration with dental experts. The company boasts eight subsidiaries and distribution in 80 countries worldwide. It aims to conduct its work under the UN Sustainable Development Goals adopted by member states as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and largely focuses on good health and well-being. Within the framework of TePe Share, the company’s knowledge platform, it works to raise awareness of oral health, general health and preventive dental care.
