In aligner treatment, digital visualisation tools are increasingly informing how clinicians assess case complexity and present proposed treatment outcomes. A webinar hosted by ClearCorrect on Thursday will demonstrate how CBCT and advanced simulation software can support diagnosis, treatment planning and patient communication in aligner therapy.

The webinar will be presented by Dr Daniel Cavassin, an orthodontist and ClearCorrect speaker with more than 15 years of clinical experience in aligner therapy. Drawing on his experience in digitally supported orthodontic workflows, Dr Cavassin will discuss CBCT visualisation and outcome simulation and show how these technologies can improve diagnostic accuracy, inform comprehensive treatment planning and help clinicians communicate proposed treatment outcomes clearly to patients.

Through clinical examples, participants will learn how enhanced visualisation tools can support their treatment decisions and improve case acceptance. Key topics will include the interpretation of 3D imaging data to inform biomechanical assessment and interdisciplinary treatment decisions, clinical situations indicating the use of CBCT and the role of outcome simulation in strengthening patient understanding during aligner treatment planning.

The webinar, titled “Enhancing diagnosis and patient engagement with advanced digital visualisation tools,” will take place on 11 June at 7 p.m. CEST. Registration is free of charge. More information can be found at campuslive.straumann.com.
