LEIPZIG, Germany: The latest edition of a comprehensive report on the European dental industry is now available for purchase through Dental Tribune International (DTI). Compiled by the Association of Dental Dealers in Europe (ADDE), the report is a must-have for those whose businesses depend on an intimate knowledge of dentistry in Europe.
Owing to a new partnership, DTI is now distributing the 2021 Survey on the European Dental Trade, which was launched by ADDE during this year’s International Dental Show in Cologne. The report addresses the most relevant topics and trends that are affecting dentistry in Europe and includes comprehensive information about the industry and its supply chains.
According to ADDE, the report shows an industry in the process of change. “[The] 2021 Survey on the European Dental Trade indicates a further shift towards digital dentistry, manifesting in overall growth of online shopping and use of CAD/CAM systems and intra-oral scanners,” the association said in a press release.
ADDE said that the report, in addition to analysing current trends, focuses on the latest medical device regulations, parallel trade, market surveillance and the free movement of dental professionals.
The report provides a detailed overview of the number of dentists, dental technicians and dental hygienists who practise in Europe and the number of dental clinics and laboratories in the region. Furthermore, the report assesses the sales values of the main dental product categories, sales segments and distribution channels. It provides the sales figures for new dental technologies, such as CAD/CAM systems and intra-oral scanners, and offers unique insights into the market shares of the dental dealers and dental manufacturers who do business in Europe.
Digital and printed copies of the report can be purchased here.
ADDE annually compiles the Survey on the European Dental Trade, and this year, it once again collaborated on the report with the Federation of the European Dental Industry.
